DO NOT SKIP ANY OF THE FOUR STEPS.

✅ You must complete all four steps in sequence before your appointment.
📌 Declaration of Age Affidavit is mandatory for everyone, regardless of any previous or current documents you hold as a Nigerian.
❌ If you arrive without the following required documents and codes from the Nigeria National Population Commission and NIMC Payment Portal, no agent will attend to you (You just wasted your time and Money), and you will be required to reschedule your appointment Again.

NOTE: Nigeria Statutory Declaration of Age Affidavits is for Nigerians born in Nigeria with Valid or expired Nigeria International Passport

Step 2

Obtain Your Birth Certificates Verification

HOW TO NAVIGATE NATIONAL POPULATION WEBSITE

  1. Click on Services
  2. Select your services
  • Birth Attestation (Self-Service):
    1. For individuals aged 18 and above.
    2. Born in Nigeria, have Nigeria Passport)
    3. Temporary attestation is available for those without an NIN.
  • Birth Registration (Self Service)
    1. For children under the age of 5 years,
    2. Must be born in Nigeria
    3. Either of the child’s parent must be Nigerian and have a valid Birth Certificate.
  • Foreign Birth Notification:
    1. For children that are not born in Nigeria
    2. Either of the child’s parent must be a Nigerian and has a National Identification Number (NIN)

  2. Scroll down and click each of the privacy notices and follow the prompt (make sure you have a check mark)
  3. Click the consent
  4. Click attestation
  5. Enroll and follow the prompt
  6. Make Payment (Only Mastercard Accepted)
  7. Print all documents, including your Temporary Attestation Code.
  8. Next Step is the NIMC Website to Make NIN Payment

STEP 4

Schedule Appointment with NIMC

2. Enrollments

Completed NIMC Enrollment Application form (Download it before you submit your appointment), Upload Document obtained from National Population and NIMC

3. Make Payments

Pay $15.00 (Mercyland Administrative Fees) Online and Submit your appointment. Fee is Non-Refundable

4. Get NIN

Come to your appointment with Proof of appointment, Show up with all required documents on your appointment date and time, Obtain your NIN.
